Background of establishment
SYED DILDAR HUSSAIN MASHHADI
He was a revered religious figure in Chak No. 18, Tehsil Chunian, District Kasur. Despite owning extensive agricultural land, he lived a humble and devout life, dedicated to assisting the less fortunate in the community. His estate, once a grand haveli, has since been transformed into a charitable hospital under the Anza Dildar Foundation.
SYED ASHIQ HUSSAIN MASHHADI
A civil engineer turned agriculturist, who made significant contributions to agriculture techniques and shared his knowledge with local farmers until his passing in 2019.
SYED NAZAR HUSSAIN MASHHAD
A distinguished civil engineer who founded the National Development Consultants (NDC), the country’s largest consultancy firm. He played pivotal roles in various engineering organizations and conferences, contributing significantly to the field until his demise in 2001.
SYED ZULFIQAR ALI MASHHADI
A politician and agriculturist who served as the chairman of a union council and was dedicated to the welfare of his community until his passing in 2008.
DR SYED RAZA ASKARI MASHHADI
A doctor by profession, he devoted his life to politics and public service. He was a founder chairman of the Peoples Students Federation and held various offices in the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). Driven by a commitment to the people of his region, he selflessly sold his land to aid the needy and maintained a spotless record, free from any corrupt practices.
The foundation’s primary objective is to serve the poor and needy, aiming to earn the blessings of Allah for these departed souls and the present members of the Mashhadi family. These individuals left an indelible mark on society through their dedication to various fields, including agriculture, engineering, politics, and public service. The foundation continues their legacy by striving to uplift and support those in need, in line with the values and ideals upheld by the Mashhadi family.
